In November Murali came to Rome all the way from New Plymouth and took along his friend Sharat. We ran through the Centro Storico in the rain and had long lunches, did the Vittorio Emanuele Markets, saw some tango and had a great evening with friends George and Oona and kids.
At the end of November my cousin Erik and wife Berendien left their farm in Holland for a long weekend and came to stay with us with their three kids in rainy Rome. It was fantastic to have a house full of kids and see Rome again through fresh eyes. Finally I saw the colosseum from the inside as well!
This is to keep you up to date with us on our adventures in the Eternal City and thereabouts. We left New Zealand in january 2008 to spend an unknown quantity of time in Rome where Francisco is working for FAO, also known as The Thunderbirds.
V. plans on learning to speak Italian, turning some other tricks and discovering Italy with my relentlessly side tracked offspring, who so far are having a great time climbing over ancient bits of rock. Enough already! Read the blog, watch this space. spread the love. peace
